Jill Anderson
Description
Jill Anderson is dedicated to assisting families through the process of separation in the healthiest and the most dignified way possible. Jill prides herself on keeping the children’s interests at the forefront, while considering each parent’s goals and wellbeing. Jill works with families through the challenges of separation by encouraging healthy communications and the creation of parenting plans.
Jill is a Registered Member of the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals (OAMHP). She has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a Diploma in Social Services. Jill has close to 20 years of experience in Child Welfare and is a Neutral Family Relationship Professional with Collaborative Practice Sudbury. Jill is an experienced assessor for the Office of the Children’s Lawyer and has completed Parenting Assessments (also known as Custody and Access Assessments) and Voice of the Child Reports for families in conflict since 2015.
Jill has extensive knowledge about social issues, including Intimate Partner Violence, Substance Misuse, Poverty, and Mental Health Limitations. Jill’s experiences with social issues, working with children, assessing high conflict families after separation, and creating parenting plans all combine when working with families in the collaborative process to ensure that individuals and families come through the separation process as healthy as possible.
